Prelude Ministries takes the calling of Serving Seniors, Supporting Caregivers and Sharing Christ seriously. Our teammates are full-time credentialed Pastors. We have a goal of engaging a Pastor for every 30 residents, their families and respective staff. This low Pastor-to-resident ratio ensures deliberate and regular individual connections as well as time for impactful formal ministry activities.

Pastor Steve Schramm
Director of Spiritual Care
Campus Pastor - Woodbury, MN
Pastor Steve guides the spiritual life of Prelude Ministries, ensuring that worship, pastoral visits, and programs reflect Christ’s love while honoring the dignity and unique needs of seniors living with memory loss. Working alongside the Executive Director, this role supports and equips pastors to provide consistent, compassionate, dementia-informed spiritual care across all communities. Through the Prelude Alliance, he also builds partnerships with senior and memory care communities to extend spiritual care to residents, families, and caregivers where it would not otherwise exist.

Pastor Vicki Richardson
Campus Pastor - Woodbury, MN
Pastor Vicki felt the calling of the Lord early on in her life as a child and have been living for Christ ever since. She initially began her career as a surgical nurse before completing her M.Div. in Inter-Religious Chaplaincy and her Clinical Pastoral Education in both hospital and prison settings. She is credentialed and licensed through Covenant Life Ministerial Association. Pastor Vicki has served in full-time ministry as a Chaplain in various capacities, to include being a Sheriff Chaplain with Anoka County for over 20 years, a senior living Chaplain, and now a Chaplain with us at Prelude Ministries, Inc. She has exciting plans to complete an advanced degree through Bethel University sometime in the future as she continues to serve our residents with a heart full of the love of Christ.

Pastor John George
Campus Pastor - White Bear Lake, MN
Pastor John was born and raised in a Christian Missionary family in Kerala, India. He and his wife worked in a Christian organization in North India which trains students as Pastors and missionaries, runs schools for the underprivileged, projects for the marginalized and a Bible translation training center. Pastor John has had previous experience as an advertising professional before going into full-time ministry. He completed his M.Div. and is currently admitted into the Doctor of Ministry program at Bethel University.

Pastor Luke Yelchuri
Campus Pastor - Chicago, IL
Pastor Luke grew up as a pastor's kid in India, watching his father plant churches across rural South India where he served the poor, the widow, and the orphan, and brought hope to communities in need of both word and deed. That witness shaped his own calling early on. He initially trained as a mechanical engineer and later earned a master's in international business with the intension of building a career in India's business world. But those plans gave way to a higher calling, and Pastor Luke instead answered the call to share the good news of Jesus — the same hope that had already transformed his own life. He completed his M.Div. at Moody Bible Institute and served both as a church planter and pastor at Park Community Church "Sabka Sahaara," ministering in the richly diverse immigrant community of Little India. Pastor Luke believes every person is made in the image of God and now serves as a Campus Pastor with us at Prelude Ministries, Inc., bringing that same hope to residents, families, caregivers, and staff.
